tips for teaching myself to play the guitar (year two)?

I have been playing for about two years now give or take. Im twenty
and i like playing the guitar. i cant afford guitar lessons right now
and dont have time for them at this point (school and work). I am not
really improving at a fast enough pace than i would like to... and
this is because i am teaching myself and dont really know what im
doing. i have a book but i really didnt read it that much cause it was
SO BORING to learn from a book. Instead i started making up my own
songs and looking at the chords page and putting a couple of them
together. right now i have most of the major and minor chords
memorized on about three of the strings and i dont know any scales. I
noticed a couple months ago that i wasnt getting much better and
decided to start playing cover songs and i learned a lot of them and
now i just play the songs i wrote and cover songs....

i know... WAAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION but really

my question is what are some tips for teaching myself to play guitar?
i mean what are the most important things to learn? i really want to
be like able to play solos as soon as possible and fingerpicking
flaminco music as well as singing and playing guitar at the same time.

so what are the most important things i need to know that i shouldve
learn... scales? reading music? ALL the chords? blues? classical?
